An Open Letter to the Producers of Bionic Woman

To the producers of Bionic Woman:

I see that once again, a handful of episodes in, the production regime
of Bionic Woman is changing hands again.

I would be more than happy, as an outsider and non-DGA member, to come
in and rock your world.

I want to say firstly, that I come to you as someone who has
already directed a feature film and a popular online series.

I understand the tenets of low-budget filmmaking, visual effects,
and choreographing kick-ass fight sequences, especially those involving
females.

I want to break your show Bible that calls for all the colors to be
muted and make the show more fantastic.

Jamie Summer's world will never be the same. Stop focussing on her
bionics and focus on her soul.

I want to feature more camera movement in the series, to add a more cinematic vibe.

I want the locations to look a bit more lived-in, a bit more realistic.

I really want to exploit the acting talents of Michelle Ryan and the cast that supports her.
I want to remove some of these 1-note villians and give your show more pizazz.

Of course, I would like the show to be popular and financially viable at the same time,
and that requires a more specific look and better character development.
