First off, let me tell you why this era of Depeche Mode is so wonderful. This is pretty much where the greatest decade of DM starts. It's post Vince, it's completely analog. Everything here is analog, including Andy Fletcher starting the tape machine after the instrumental intro. I love Alan Wilder's early appearance in the band, and this show just seems really real. It's pre-gloss, and the digital feel of Construction Time Again.A Broken Frame, while not slick like later DM, has a great purity to it. Enjoy my fave song from ABF, "My Secret Garden."
