What about Jericho on Showtime?

So, Jericho has been cancelled. No one's angry about it...or at least they shouldn't be. The house that CSI built gave it one more shot...bankrolled several episodes. You gotta give them that. The show averages about 6 million viewers...I know I have personally NEVER watched a live episode. I caught the first series on DVD and #2 on DVR. So I'm a bastard. I never get to watch TV before 10:30 central anyway. So then you look at Showtime, the cable channel wholly owned by CBS. Their biggest show that I know of right now is Dexter, which we first caught edited on CBS but have now been watching on DVD. That show draws maybe 2 million people an episode. Well, what if they brought a harder, more explicitly violent (and maybe sexual) Jericho season to Showtime? It would increase their subscriber base, and those that don't subscribe would catch it on DVD. It could work. And what about Sci-Fi? Their low budget Battlestar Galactica seems to be doing gangbusters, although it's viewership is limited as well. And anything's better than that Flash Gordon show. Booring!
